Gold Wurlitzer Starke Model Concert Grand Pedal Harp $16,000 (updated 2/14/2025) Serial number- Starke Model No. 1136 Description - This beautiful harp is a treasure in itself. It holds the charm of an era gone by, being made in the early 1920’s by the Wurlitzer company. This harp was played by my grandmother for Vaudeville and NBC radio. It was rebuilt by Lyon and Healy in 1980. They replaced the soundboard, neck, and bottom piece with pedals. Its parts include a golden column, a light-colored wood, seven pedals, and hand-painted scrollwork on the soundboard. The harp has been lovingly maintained and kept regulated, and has a beautiful tone. It has been played all over the world. It would be a lovely addition to any concert harpist’s studio. This harp is in excellent condition and has a beautiful bell like tone across the entire range. The harp is concert tension but has a very light action which makes it very well suited for playing folk and Celtic styles. It comes with a padded carrying case, tuning key, and tuning key holster. The harp was used exclusively by an adult for a Celtic harp circle which met once a month until COVID made the circle meeting not possible. |

Steen, Concord 40-D 40-string lever harp $5,000 (posted 3/4/2022) Custom-built for one owner in birdseye maple. Selling because no longer able to play due to health issues. Nylon, gut, and wire strings. Build date: c. 2001 Comes with homemade cover, some extra strings, and harp cart There is a slight separation on the body near the kneeblock. It was evaluated by the builder and not found to be an issue. It has not gotten larger over time.
